Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"Despite the price tag I gad to try this release and it didn't disappoint me. The price tag may be high, but is is also an old rum. Nice and fruity on the nose with some leather notes. Once rested even more notes appear. The palate is warm, dry and well balanced. Despite the age the wood isn't dominant but mixes very well with the fruits and floral notes. The finish warm and medium to long and dry with dried fruit and wood."

"Epic Velier Caroni Tasting 2023: Inspiring color - deepest mahogany with great gold reflections in the glass. In fact, just looking into the tasting glass is fun. On the palate, pronounced tar and petrol notes. In addition, fine wood, subtle berry aromas and dark spices. On the palate, there is a rich HTR profile, pronounced wood notes that transition into bitterness, showing hints of dark chocolate and coffee. Again, slight hints of tropical fruit, though much less pronounced than the second 1984 release."

"This bottle is very expensive now but it's still a pretty good demerara. Very heavy on the oak notes and I like that you can get vanilla and molasses in there as well. There is a slight rubber and mineral note hiding in the back."

"This is an expensive drop and the price is probably high because of the rareness of the release and what it celebrates. Overall the rum is well balanced, lightly sweet and kind of light. Fruity with spices and caramel on top. Would be a nice collectors item in my mind."

"Another wonderful rum from Bielle. They really know their Agricole and this one is up there as well. Wonderful Agricole notes all the way. The glass needs to rest for a while or the ABV will be kind of overpowering. Once the flavours start oozing out of the glass you know its an Agricole. Add spices and fruits to that and you have a great and balanced rum Agricole. It is only lightly dry but the caramel balances that pretty well. Nice warm and spicy finish. If you like Agricole you should try this one."

"Very smooth delicious Hampden LROK. The alcohol is integrated very well. The barrel/wood hasn‘t an high impact here, it‘s well noted in the finish only. Unfortunately, the nose lasts long in the glass (neither with a cover)… so I substract 3 points. Nose: Classic Hampden funk notes grilled pineapple, ester, glue, varnish, overripe fruits, overripe bananas, peaches, green apples, freshness with a bit of coconut graters. Mouth: Delicious, funky, glue, elegant, trop fruits, pineapple, banana at the end the various notes of the barrel will take over. Finish: long fruity, pineapple, green apple, woody, dry, toasted, roasted. The barrel notes are well noted, but will never be overwhelming or astringent"

"Ein wilder, komplexer Geselle, nicht sehr ausgewogen. Braucht viel Zeit und ein paar Tropfen Wasser. Hat die hohen Erwartungen bei weitem nicht erfüllen können. Beim zweiten mal Kosten überzeugt er mehr. Tolles öliges Mundgefühl, hochkomplex. Das Wollenhaben-Gefühl stellt sich aber trotzdem nicht ein."
