“I like even better than the already extremely good 2018 bottling. Is more complex with a very nice fruity berry note. Otherwise also green and grassy with lots of sugar cane and pronounced ester notes. One of the best white rums!”

“what a great Agricole blanc! Almost too good to blend. On the nose incredibly complex, pear, olive, red fruit, spice. On the palate, honeydew melon comes to mind, with an intense sweetness, along with freshly cut grass. The finish brings green vegetables to which some earth still clings 😉.”

“Nose Vamos Muchachos! (Wait, seems wrong!) The first sniff throws you on a wild vegetable patch on a mexican farm. Wild agaves, raspberry, quinces, unripe corn, celery, goat cheese and wet goat skin. Also wet hay in autumn (fresh summer hay is different as everybody knows), maple syrup and indeed, some sweet potato notes. Really green, bold and surprisingly complex! With water: Much rounder and sweeter with heavy roasted barley and fresh baked german bread. What a sophisticated development, considering they didn't use any barley (we believe). Palate Such an explosion of green vegetables! Exactly the same expressions that we had on the nose, including one loose goat skin hair. Beside, it's very salty and herbal with bison grass and woodruff. The body is light and the texture is oily. With water: Becoming sweeter and even greener now, with an idea of aniseed brandy and chartreuse. This is so odd and entertaining. Finish Quite long actually, with white pepper and bitter lemons. But definitely no lemon juice, more on the peels side.”
