“Oh, das ist schwer! Ach, ich mach's mir heute einfach mal leicht, auch wenn ich damit zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt die bisherige Höchstmarke setze: Im direkten Vergleich mit dem 2005er von GotA & RumX (RX11670) sind beide für mich gleichauf. Der Kirsch ist in der Nase präsenter und gefälliger, der GotA & RumX bleibt dafür am Gaumen vorn, er hat auch ein paar Prozente mehr Power. Für mich beide auf absolutem Topniveau. Wie schön, dass es St. Lucia gibt! 🤗 Update 2023-05-04: Ui, was ist denn nun los? Im Blind Tasting hatte ich meine liebe Müh mit der Bissigkeit dieses Rums, wo ist mein kräftiger, aber anschmiegsamer Chairman's geblieben? Tja, es ist etwas verwunderlich, aber die John Dore verliert nun doch gegen die Vendome (6. Rum & Co.-Abfüllung). Hinterlässt mich etwas ratlos. Aber ich kann es ja immer noch auf die Tagesform schieben! 🤣”

“What an amazing nose 😍 A big fruitsbaskets, with some glue, a fresh note and some roasted aromas. So far my favorite from St. Lucia!! In mouth this rum continues to shine with various fruits, tobacco, leather, wood and with a high impact of licorice 🤤 The finish is quite long, dry, starts fruity and ends in a smoky wooden barrel. The alcohol is integrated well. The 58% are notable, but drinkable. This is a truthfully rum.”
