It was distilled in 2007 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 15 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 56,5%. This is a limited release and there are only 624 bottles.

“Un rhum de l’embouteilleur suisse Origin R. Avec des fruits tropicaux, du bois vernis et une pointe d’acétone au nez. La bouche est vive avec de l’ananas rôti et du sucre candi. La finale est moyennement longue avec beaucoup de fruits. Le verre vide exhale comme un parfum de crème solaire. Une très belle surprise.”

“Was für eine Abfüllung! Der kommt für mich subjektiv einem perfekten Rum sehr nahe. Vanille, Michschokolade, tropische Früchte, Brioche, Marmelade, Ester, Fass, leicht florale Noten, Bourbon. Perfekte Trinkstärke, harmonisch. Er ist zugänglich, man muss nicht „arbeiten“ um von ihm belohnt zu werden. Easy Sipping und dennoch viel zu bieten. Braucht sicher noch ein Re-Tasting aber heute gefällt er mir ausserordentlich.”

“Ah oui... Quel nez floral.... Avec une petite touche bien à lui... Un peu de tabac vanillé? Je ne sais pas... 😅Les esters sont contenus et vous invitent à la dégustation. QUEL GOÛT...😳 Pour moi c'est un découverte dans les Jamaïcains... Un ovni assurément... une douceur dans les fruits le floral qui dansent ensemble... Le degré alcoolique est bien présent (56.5°) et réhausse les premières impressions et vient épicer votre palais. Une fin bien longue et comme tout Jamaïcain qui se respecte l'astringence arrive en fin de bouche disparaît et vous laisse encore découvrir des effluves de douceurs.”
