“Alkohol nicht gut eingebunden. Wenig spannend mit bisschen Beerenfruchtnote, leichte Süße, im Abgang etwas rauchig. Da gibt es imo deutlich bessere T.D.Ls”

“Drop of water opened it up, reduced the brashnsss”

“It’s an interesting rum from Thompson Bros. A relatively young and fairly brash rum from TDL bottled at 13 years. The nose is fairly typical with copper and metallic notes and little in the way of fruit, mouth again metal with earth and wet root notes and a hint on salty brine. The finish is medium length and a bit thin but with more interesting layers including soap, vegetation and cloves. It is not a super impressive rum but interesting enough to try and while not impressive not disasterous across any dimension and hard to complain for the price”
