"I would have loved if this rum had a higher ABV because it's very light in the profile. This also makes it sweeter that it should have been in my mind. Fruity with nice roasted wood. Draws really nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass is really nice and I can pick up some tobacco and citrus."

"What a wonderful and rare set of drops to enjoy. Beautiful dark colour with long and steady curtains in the glass. Fruity with lots of roasted wood without it being too dominant in near perfect harmony with chocolate and very light caramel. Extremely good ABV integration and you barely feel the alcohol."

"A nice surprise with a lot of smoke on the nose and barely any smoke on the palate. The barrel is there from nose to finish. Pretty well balanced. The price is pretty high for such a young rum."

"This one was a huge surprise. A very well balanced Panama rum with very good ABV integration. Lightly fruity profile with roasted nuts and a warm oily palate. Draws really nice and slow moving curtains in the glass. Even today the plum/prune note is in the empty bottle."

"A bit disappointed with this one as it comes off too light compared to the normal Panama rums. Fruit and spices are there with the barrel i the background but would have loved a bit more bang for your buck."

"Un rhum de l’embouteilleur Suisse Origin R. La qualité de ce rhum est une surprise vu le prix plutôt bas. Les arômes ne sont pas très profonds mais l’ensemble est très équilibré. L’alcool est aussi très bien intégré. Délicieux !"

"Al naso è accogliente con melassa, caramello, pelle e lieve cacao/caffè. Al palato è leggero e setoso, con sentori di caramello e di barile, nel finale caffè e qualche spezia. Finale molto leggero però estremamente rotondo. Piacevole. Nel bicchiere vuoto melassa, cacao e caffè"

Palate Oily, wood, light roasted, naturally sweet, spicy, nutts, fruits, prunes, light caramel. Finish Medium to long, sweet, wood, prunes, nutts."
